The LunchVans Order Entry System has been redesigned to support the following enhancements:

• Date based data transaction entry. This eliminates time consuming end of period processing.
• Support for both Telxon and Symbol data entry terminals.
• All reports are designed using Crystal Reports. Provision has been made in the program to automatically call Crystal Reports Designer to prepare ad-hoc reports.

LunchVans Order Entry System will utilise the facilities of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and will use Microsoft SQL Server 2000 allowing easy export of data to spreadsheets etc using SQL queries. Data stored in the database can be analysed easily using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services. Microsoft SQL Server Reporting services can be used as an alternative to Crystal Reports to produce additional reports.
